This is a Fox sterlingworth 12g that has been professionally restored. The stock has been beautifully refinished and the barrels re blued.
the barrels were originally 30’s but have been professionally shortened to 25” by Jaeger. They are choked sk/sk. This gun is the perfect woods gun for grouse and was designed for that job in mind.
The stock is pretty much 100% perfect apart from one ding on the right side (see photo). It has lovely deep grain and new oil finish. LOP is 14 3/4 from front trigger to a pacmyer pad, with plenty of drop. The gun retains most of the original case color on the action. Barrels are also professionally re blued and are 98%.
Wonderful gun for upland hunting.
