Manufactured c. 1928, this J Grade is one of about 550 total Fox Single Barrel Trap guns produced across all of the grades. Dual bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, \"CHROMOX FLUID STEEL\" and \"MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A.\" marked on the right and left, respectively. Scroll engraving at the breech, choke measures extra full (inside diameter .6875) on a 30\" barrel, not sure about the chamber length. The shotgun features a red recoil pad that was fitted later in life. Stock has a 14\" LOP. There is some minor pitting on the barrel as shown in the pictures. Last two digits of serial number are blackened out in the picture showing grade. There are also bumps and scratches associated with a shotgun that was used. Don‚t think you are getting a 10K shotgun at a bargain price. Overall the shotgun is in good condition and locks up tight. Ships ground in flambeau case with insurance.
