If you are seeking perfection in an American made shotgun, this AH Fox DE grade manufactured by the Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing company, CSMC, fits the bill nicely. It was ordered on December 29, 2006, manufactured and completed in 2007. A combination of the legendary Ansley H. Fox design and modern manufacturing processes by CSMC resulted in this very attractive and functional shotgun. AH Fox shotguns were stated as being "The Finest Gun in the World" because of their design and elegant engraving. This Fox was made with the finest quality materials. It features an English style straight grip stock, Cromax Fluid Steel barrels tipped with a single ivory bead front sight, a skeleton butt plate and a Schnable forend with an ebony insert. The receiver, engraved by Jere Davison is appealing to the upland hunter, featuring flushing grouse on the right side, flushing woodcock on the left side and a setter pointing a covey of flushing quail on the underside. The stock and forend have a very fine and attractive checkering pattern. It has gold plated double triggers. The metal to wood fit is superb. The gun weighs in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces and sports 29 inch barrels. The right barrel is choked improved cylinder and the left barrel is choked modified. It comes in a Galazan Traditional Trunk Case with a canvas outside cover. This gun would be a valuable asset to your collection or a first class piece to use in pursuing your favorite upland game. A gun as such, if ordered today from CSMC, would cost in excess of 27K. This gun is not a reproduction but in all respects, a genuine AH Fox shotgun. It is "New Old Stock", having never been fired
