Extremely rare and Fine Fox HE Grade 12ga with straight stock
Description:
Extremely rare (1 of about 60 made) HE Grade A,H. Fox made with 32" barrels that have splinter forend. The case hardened action is lightly border engraved in typical HE Grade pattern. The straight grip buttstock is nicely figured with fine fiddleback as seen in the photos, has long trigger guard tang, and terminates with a Silver's type pad.
The gun remains in superb overall condition with more than 95% original barrel blue. The action retains about 60%++ original case color. Stocks have been expertly restored (not sanded) and retain nearly all of their restored finish with crisp checkering. The mechanics are perfect, gun is tight and sound, and bores are brilliant and shiny.
HE Fox guns with straight stocks do not come along very often. This gun is in superb condition and very pleasing to the eye. It handles well and would make an incredible duck partner this coming season and would be well at home in any fine gun room. It is priced at $12,500 shipped and insured to your FFL.
