Fox that competent gunsmiths have completely reviewed, a gun that is guaranteed to be in superb mechanical condition complete with a 30-day mechanical warranty? That should be an easy question to answer.  Most available guns have had their stocks cut, been poorly restored, heavily used, have buggered up screws, bad shooting dimensions, or have characteristics that just don’t fit your needs.  Many have issues that a novice buyer won’t even recognize until the inspection period is over and now the gun needs work.  It is nearly impossible to get quality gunsmithing work on a vintage shotgun these days, so why take a chance on a random internet purchase? This Philly Fox is the perfect choice for pheasants and other tough upland game. Best of all it has excellent screws, excellent wood to metal fit, 99% case color and blue, 30” number 2 weight barrels with mirror bores, tight ribs, tight on hinge pin and breech face, 99% blue on the trigger guard, and well figured factory original wood with an excellent hand-rubbed oil finish.  The gun is expertly restored to new, mechanically excellent and will not need work for many years to come. The gun has top lever right of center, and excellent checkering with good shooting dimensions (see specs below).  Our gunsmiths can make alterations to fit your needs within a week or so of purchase.
