Finding nice, original, unmolested graded Fox guns, even in 12ga., is getting more and more difficult these days.  From waterfowl hunters, upland game chasers, to the sporting clays crowd, seems like everybody wants a nice original Fox with long barrels.  This gun, sn25513 made in 1920 is just such a gun.  This was a time period when Fox was producing really nice guns, and this one shows it.  A gun made for heavier loads and game, with 30" number 2 weight barrels and weighing 7lbs. 9oz. balanced nicely just ahead of the hinge pin, this gun is an excellent candidate for the above mentioned pursuits.  Best of all it has perfect screws and wood to metal fit, nice engraving and 97% original barrel blue remaining, strong mechanics with robust ejectors, and original factory wood.  This is a gorgeous gun that has not been restored, showing it was well cared for throughout its 95 years of use.  Now add nice modern stock dimensions and you have the ultimate, affordable A.H. Fox double gun.  Fox guns have been continuously gaining value as you enjoy their use, and that makes this a very good investment gun.  Thanks for looking!
