Tony Galazan has produced many masterpieces in his Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co. (CSMC) facility.  His faithful reproduction of Ansley H. Fox’s fine shotguns is no exception, and the quality renditions far exceed anything old Ansley H. Fox ever contemplated.  With over-the-top engraving, masterful wood carvings and checkering patterns, and state-of-the-art materials, Galazan has brought us TRUE ART IN WORKING PLATFORMS.  Every part is an exact duplicate from the original design, but made with better, modern materials.  This fine, ULTRALIGHT, XE Grade Fox, snF205612 was special ordered in 1995 +-, and demonstrates the quality of CSMC Fox guns.  The original owner wanted a gun resembling a fine British side x side and you will see the British influence in the engraving, checkering, drop points, and the fine diamond shaped wrist this gun is adorned with.  Of course, the British 20 bore is the gun by which all others are measured by when it comes to handling dynamics, and this gun hits it out of the park in that category, weighing just 5 3/4LBS. with its long, graceful 29” Krupp Steel barrels choked the perfect IC/M.  Balanced dead on the hinge pin, this Fox handles much like the last Holland & Holland 20 bore I had here a few months back.  AMAZING IN HAND!  With its fancy scalloped back action, rebated frame, delicately stated fine English scroll, factory upgraded Turkish walnut stock, borderless checkering, gold oval in the belly of the stock (we can eliminate the “O” engraved there or engrave your initials), English style leather pad,… the gun just shouts seductive overtures to any fine gun lover.  What a delightful upland gun to carry all day long with no fatigue.  The long barrels and English style stock make for a very racy looking shotgun.  WE CAN ALTER STOCK DIMENSIONS IN OUR GUNSMITH DEPARTMENT WITHIN 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE IF NEEDED.  The gun has been carried afield and has been shot very little, showing 99% case color and blue, no dents or dings in the barrels, and only light field marks in the wood.  To order this gun today would cost over $20,000.  WE HAVE PRICED THIS LOWER THAN ANY OTHER CSMC FOX ON THE INTERNET…BY FAR!  If you want a custom fitted case of your choice, we can arrange that for you.  With the awesome pricing on this gun she becomes an investment vehicle that will go up in value as the retail price for a new gun from CSMC continues to rise.  Thanks for looking, and don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
