This fantastic little 20ga gun made as the absolute ULTMATE Southern Quail Gun with stunning engraving and extremely fast handling qualities. The gun, made with 26" Krupp Fluid Steel Barrels. Long splinter forend checkered in near full coverage pattern with engraved release. Barrels with matted rib and gold inlaid on rib "THE QUAIL GUN". Breech ends of barrels with beautiful flowing floral scroll and relief Quail in wedges. Top lever with gold inlaid quail. Scalloped box lock action is full coverage engraved with floral scroll and quail on sides, a large relief panel with two well executed setters on point on bottom. Gun made with a truly superior piece of fiddleback Circassian Walnut checkered in DE Grade pattern with straight English Grip and terminates with a fully engraved and blued skeleton buttplate. All of the engraving on this gun accomplished by Richard Roy - perhaps CSM's most desired Fox Engraver and signed by him near the nickel plated double triggers. The fences are beautifully Oak leaf relief carved.
The gun remains in "as new" factory test fired only condition. Mechanics are perfect and the gun has not been fired outside of the factory.
