Franchi Alcione 12 gauge over under game gun in mint like new original condiiton.Built in the early 1970s,the Alcione is a very high quality gun with a lot of features only found on much more expensive guns.The stock and forend are very highly figured Circassian walnut with beautifully executed fine checkering on the grip,sidepanels,and forend.The stock dimensions are 141/8"LOP over a chekered butt,15/8" at comb,21/2" at heel.The stock is neutral with no cast or palm swell.The receiver is coin finished and fully hand engraved in a rose and scroll pattern similar to Purdey's.The trigger is selective with an easy to select button in the safety.The high chrome barrels are 261/2" long with 23/4" chambers,ejectors, and a flat vent rib.The chokes are fixed choked at imrpoved cylinder (.008") and modified (.020").At 7 lbs,this gun is a great all around upland gun for pheasants,doves,or quail or a fun gun for clays.A lot of gun for the money.
