This is an Italian made 12-gauge semi-auto shotgun. Manufactured by Franchi in 1983, it‚s their 35th anniversary edition engraved with \"1948-1983\" on the receiver. Overall, the condition is very good. There are a few nicks in the stock and scuffs on the receiver, but pretty minor for a firearm that is 42 years old. The rubber butt pad has hardened and shrunk over time. It is not a perfect \"edge to edge\" fit.

The barrel markings indicate this is an improved cylinder barrel.
