The Franchi 530 is a vintage, gas-operated, semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun. Manufactured in the late 1970s, this trap focused shotgun it was one of the few semi-automatics of its time to feature an innovative choke tube system secured by Allen-head screws rather than standard threads. While the production of this shotgun was short-lived, this shotgun was known for its weight and reliability when it came to shooting. This gun represents Franchi's late-1970s effort to compete in the competitive trap shooting market with a dedicated gas-operated platform before the company shifted focus. This good is overall in very good condition. The wood stock and forend show some scratches and marks from usage. The metal barrel and receiver also show marks from usage and wear, but there is no major damage anywhere on the gun. Do not miss the chance to take home a piece of trap and Franchi history.
