Franchi Veloce Grade ll 28g Outstanding Wood Rare only imported 1 year Benelli USA collection

Description:
Offered for sale is a rare Veloce Grade II only imported one year, 2004. It does not appear to have ever been shot. Made in Italy, with 26” barrels and weighing only 5lbs 14oz. it is fast handling and lives up to its Italian name “Veloce”.  The blued, chrome-lined barrels are threaded for interchangeable choke tubes, with Full, modified, and improved cylinder tubes supplied. These barrels also feature a ventilated rib with a white front bead. This aluminum framed boxlock features a jeweled monobloc receiver, automatic ejectors, a tang mounted auto safety/barrel selector and a skeletonized opening lever accented at the top.  This Franchi features a gold plated, single selective, mechanical trigger with a checkered face. The etched game scene receiver show cases detailed gamebirds featuring gold filled inlays of a woodcock on the right side, and a ruffed grouse in gold on the left. The bottom on the receiver features a gold inlay of a pigeon and the etched word “Grade ll” along with the word “Veloce” in gold.  The Franchi logo is also prominently featured on the bottom of the receiver.  The semi-pistol stock with flat knob is made of nicely figured deluxe walnut with a satin-finish and is accompanied by a beautifully carved Schnabel forearm.  The stock has a 14 1/2” length-of-pull and sports the Franchi logo on the flat knob and is fitted with a checkered wooden butt plate.  A fitted hard case protects this 28ga to and from the field.  This is altogether an elegant gun for hunting or taking to the range.
