We offer you a “Take-Down” W. W. Greener 12-BORE “Greener’s GP” Martini Action Nitro Proofed Shotgun. This is a very interesting W.W. Greener shotgun. It was built on the Martini action and is a take down version. It wears a 26 inch barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues and shows an Improved Modified choke with our simple gage. On top of the barrel it is marked “Robinson & Co. Ltd. Singapore & Kuala Lumpur”. This company was established in Singapore in 1858 with the main store being located in Kuala Lumpur. So this shotgun was built for this company and exported to them. Then at some time made the journey to the U.S.A. and then to being listed here on Guns International. The stocks are solid and show marks, dings and finish wear as pictured. The metal shows light pitting, wear and marks as you can see. The action is solid with no issues and locks up tight. The markings tell us it was manufactured sometime between 1925 and 1954. This shotgun has survived all this time and is still all original and matching. The markings are; The right side of the frame “GREENER’S / GP / GUN”. The bottom of the frame and just ahead on the forearm is the matching serial numbers “773”. Crown BP - Birmingham - “BP” surmounted by a crown. Provisional proof. Crown BV – Birmingham - 1904-1954 - “BV” surmounted by a crown. View mark.
