W.W.Greener - Best S/S, Rarest Facile Princeps Action, .410ga., 27" barrels, M/F choked, round knob pistol grip stock, butt plate, gold oval double triggers, extractor gun, horn tipped Schnabel forend, legendary Greener crossbolt lockup, nitro proofed, side mount safety, gun was constructed between 1907 and 1910, less than 10 were ever manufactured, built for John Caswell the author of Sporting Rifles and Rifle Shooting which was published in 1920, this gun has amazing provenance, as it is featured in the Greener Story by Graham Greener, completely original gun, 10% original case coloring remains on the receiver, small repair on toe of stock, the smallest framed shotgun we have ever encountered as the gun weighs a mere 3 lbs. 7oz., the finest collector grade Greener we have encountered, we are honored to possess and present this gun for sale.
