The W.W. Greener General Purpose (GP) shotgun is a legendary, overbuilt British firearm known for its immense durability, unique design, and reliance on the historic Martini falling-block action. Introduced by W.W. Greener in 1922 and produced until 1999, the "GP" was built to handle a massive variety of 12-gauge ammunition for farmers, sportsmen, and colonial police forces. The Greener GP uses a lever-activated Martini falling-block action. Pushing the under-lever down lowers the internal breech block, retracts the extractor, and allows the user to slide a shell straight into the chamber. 12 Gauge
