Barrels marked " WW GREENER FORESTER GUN LONDON & BIRMINGHAM". Wall thickness measurement .019"/.019". Double underbite and Greener crossbolt boxlock action with double triggers and "WW GREENER" on both sides of frame. Automatic side safety. Nicely firgured straight grip/splinter forend English walnut stock. Horn forend tip and buttplate. 14 1/4" LOP x 1 3/8 DAC x 1 7/8" DAH and 1/8" cast-off. 6lbs4oz. Cased in English leather trunk case.
Condition: This gun is in overall very good condition as partially restored. Barrels retain most all of their London quality re-brown with nice pattern showing throughout. Action of gun is basically silverd throughout with top tang, triggerguard, and bottom cover plate reblued. Wood has been professionally London quality re-oiled and recheckered. Action tight and on-face. Case in fair overall condition but is structurally okay and in working condition.
