Description: Here is an early, high grade J. P. Clabrough & Bros. 10 gauge, side lever hammergun with rebound hammers. The 30” barrels are marked J.P. Clabrough & Bros, London, Laminated Steel. Overall, the gun is in very good condition. The receiver has fine engraving, carved fences and shows a pleasing patina. The exterior of the barrels show minor pitting at the breech area while bores a bright with no pitting as well as excellent dimensions. (See specs. below). The splinter forearm is in very good condition with a small sliver of wood missing on the left side. The stock is smooth but shows some black staining in places and has it’s original iron butt plate. The checkering on the stock and forearm is in fine condition. I would like to have seen this gun when it was new.
