A very well-balanced English back action sidelock hammer gun in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Light in the hands and ideal for vintage clays or field use.
Barrels are 30" with London Nitro proof and 2 3/4" chambers. Bores measure .728 and are in mirror condition. The right barrel is Cylinder choke and the left barrel is Full choke. Barrels ring nicely and the ribs are tight.
This gun features rebounding hammers and extractors. The action remains tight on face and retains excellent original case color. Barrel blue is 100% with strong finish throughout. The trigger guard shows normal wear at the hand area consistent with use.
Stocks are in excellent condition with no cracks, sharp checkering, and a lovely finish. The gun is fitted with a horn forend tip, a classic English touch.
The gun weighs 6 lbs 13 oz, making it a lively and responsive field gun with excellent stock dimensions:
