Description: .....PRICE REDUCTION.....Here is a very nice English hammergun manufactured by T. Page Wood Ltd. of Bristol with beautiful Damascus barrels. The gun started life as a nitro proofed 12 gauge. Somewhere along the way some misguided individual in an effort to make the bores nice and “shiny” honed out the barrels rendering the wall thicknesses unsafe to shoot. Since I’m a sporting clay shooter and a firm believer that guns like these are meant to be shot and not hung on a wall, the barrels were sent to Brileys to have permanent 20 gauge tubes with removeable chokes installed. Overall, the gun is in very good condition, is on face and would make a great sub-gauge target gun for you vintagers out there in clay bird land.
Look at the pictures as they serve as part of the written description. If you have any questions, I’m always happy to respond. Thanks for looking.
