Thomas Bland, 16 ga 2 ¾, 29 1/2" Damascus barrels . Bores measure .625" and .625" , choked .010" & .030" SK2 and Full , walls are .025" and .026" , they show a few light pits. The rib is engraved "Renaissance gun" and the tang has R1 in a small window. The gun has been nitro proofed with the chambers opened to 70mm in London in 2012. Newer browning is in 98% condition.
Barrels are tight on face and the bolting is solid. The action and the Chilton rebounding locks are engraved with bold acanthus leaves with a 95% coverage.
The stock is solid with a few spots where the wood is slightly below the wood. LOP is 14 3/4" over a 3/4" leather covered pad. Drop is 1 1/2" and 2", cast is neutral at heel with a slight 1/8 cast on at toe. The snap on forend has a horn tip insert and the wood has a missing splinter at the back right upper barrel channel. Finish and checkering are 95% of a recent restoration. Comes in an era labeled, leather case.
