Extremely Rare Factory Cutaway Model 148 Harrington and Richardson Shotgun. Single shot. Made somewhere between 1957-1961 so it qualifies as a Curio and Relics. Factory Cutaway models from any gun manufacturer are rare, add in the fact this example is in great original condition makes it even more desirable. This shotgun is fully operational just like any other Model 148 produced but was more than likely used as a salesman sample or trade show display piece. .410 gauge with a 28" barrel and case hardened receiver. Barrel shows 98% of it's original blue, showing minimal handling marks. Receiver also retains almost all of it's original case colors. Both forend and buttstock are in very nice condition, again showing only a few handling marks. Great bore and markings! Here is a chance to own a piece of history. Must ship to a Curio and Relics or FFL license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to ask questions.
