Serial Number 1 is a prototype and is marked R+D-3 MODEL 4A on the left side of the frame with the lower tang having the Serial Number 1. The other is marked with Serial Number 2 on the lower tang. Both have 12 gauge 26 inch barrels marked MADE IN USA 12 GA CHOKE. Both show vivid Case Coloring on their frames with Number 1 having toned just slightly. Both have smooth pistol grip stocks, Number 1 has a darker finish with a checkered black hard rubber buttplate having the H&R ARMS CO. logo and Number 2 has a ribbed black hard rubber buttplate having the H&R ARMS CO. logo. Both have been disabled with Number 1 having the firing pin removed and Number 2 firing pin having been altered and made inoperable. Both are in very good condition overall with all other mechanics in perfect working order. This is a very rare opportunity to add a Serial Number 1 & 2 pair to your collection.
