A heritage true pair of cased Holland & Holland Royal over and under 20 bore ejector guns with 28” file-cut vent rib barrels. The guns are choked improved cylinder and modified. 15 1/8” length of pull over a checkered butt.
Both guns sport straight English stock, double triggers on square bar action, auto-safety, hand detachable locks, single front bead, drop points, rolled edge trigger guard, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of a small button style safety catch, gold inlaid “1” and “2” on the underside of the barrels, top lever, and forend iron, gold-lined cocking indicators, inlet gold initials behind gold ovals with a family crest, the “The Royal Model” designation engraved on the undersides, and an Anson push button forend release. The guns were proofed in London in 2001 with 3" chambers.
Engraved and signed by J. G. Salt with Holland’s Royal scroll. Silver finish action and furniture. Exhibition grade walnut stocks with excellent checkering. Minor scratches and wear on stock and forend consistent with field use. Excellent bores and bluing on the barrels. The guns are on face. Top lever right of center and ejectors are in time for both guns.
