Holland & Holland 12 bore rounded bar sidelock ejector Royal model, serial number 16xxx. Made in 1897, bore measurements .729+ & .729+. Wall thickness measurements 28,000th & 27,000+th.  28” nitro proofed new barrels made by the maker in 1973, virtually no use, rib gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and 1/4 choke, toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best bold Royal scroll engraving, the underside with an elaborate cartouche engraved 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR'. 28” barrels 14.5” stock.In Holland & Holland case.
