A cased heritage Holland & Holland Royal side by side 12 bore assisted-opening ejector gun with 26” matted concave rib barrels. The gun is choked skeet and improved cylinder. Length of pull of 14 3/8” to a checkered butt.

Prince of Wales stock, Holland’s single non-selective mechanical trigger on a square bar action with 7-pin hand detachable locks, Vickers steel barrels, auto-safety, single small front bead, drop points, rolled edge trigger guard, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of a small button style safety catch, gold-lined cocking indicators, splinter forend, initialed gold oval on the toe line, checkered wrist and forend with mullered borders, and an Anson push button forend release. The gun is housed in a maker’s compact (toe-under) leather case with maroon baize, maker’s label, oil bottle, snap caps, two-piece cleaning rod, cleaning cloth and patches, jag and a mop wire brush. The gun was completed in 1959 and sold through Abercrombie & Fitch of New York. Proofed in London with 2 3/4" chambers that measure the same.

Engraved with Holland’s Royal scroll. Case color hardened action and blued furniture. Most all case colors remain. Well figured French walnut stock. Overall excellent and in original condition. Pristine bores and excellent bluing on barrels with some silvering at the muzzles consistent with use of a slip. Wood and checkering remain original and excellent with evidence of very light field use. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
