Scarce Husqvarna 310AS 16ga straight grip

Description:
Hard to find Husqvarna 310AS in 16ga, made in 1919.    These are hiqh quality boxlocks made on Sauer crossbolt actions, with Swedish Special Steel barrels.  This very good original condition  example has 29.5" barrels choked im/xf, with 2 5/8" chambers and very good bores, would polish to excellent.  Barrels ring.  One light ding 5" from the left muzzle.  I wouldn't hesitate to shoot off the shelf 2.75" 1oz loads in this gun.  I shot a few rounds of trap and skeet with it and scored in the 20's.  I also patterned it, and both barrels shoot exactly to point of aim.  Strong action with tight lever right lockup with forend on or off.  Barrel flats have rhunes that look like swastikas, but actually signify hammer forged barrels.  Husqvarna discontinued using this during WWII.   Solid wood, no cracks on buttstock, although forend does have a crack near the tip.  Stock has a chip down by the tang.  Both easy fixes. . Great shooting gun that weighs 6 lbs 8oz.  This gun has it all, no issues, and would make an excellent restoration candidate and wonderful all around bird or clays gun.  I can do the restoration work at extra cost.  Feel free to inquire.  3 day inspection.
