Ithaca Model 37 Deluxe in 28 Gauge
Description:
If I recall correctly, these small gauge Ithaca Model 37 DeLuxes were made near the end of the run of shotguns produced by the Ithaca Gun Company.
This particular gun was made in 28 Gauge and has a 26 inch barrel with 3 screw-in choke tubes in IC, MOD and FULL. The Stock, action and barrel are all scalled appropriately to the smaller 28 Gauge shell. The stock features a beautiful piece of American walnut with brilliant crotch figure on both sides. Length of pull is 14 inches over a black factory pad. Drop at the comb is 1 9/16" and at the heal is 21/4". The action features light scroll engraving at the front and rear of the side panels and shows no signs of being fired. The barrel has a vent rib with a single gold bead at the muzzle. Weight is an even 6 lbs and balance is about 1 inch short of the action front. Wood condition is 99% with no marks or dings noted. Blueing is at 99% also with no blemishes noted. This would make a great gun for the field or a clays course.
