Ithaca Model 37R - 16 Ga. - Slide Action Repeating Shotgun - Checkered  pistol grip with grooved slide handle and butt plate. 26 In. long solid rib , full choke barrel with a Herter's 6 - position choke / flash supptessor. 4 Round tubular magazine with 4 plus 1 capacity 16 ga. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver are retaining 95% originaal bluing. Stock and slide handle are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is exceptional for it's age. Effortless slide action. Does not appear to have had much use. Internal parts are in excellent condition. This John Browning design revolutionized the shotgun market with it's bottom feed / eject system. Manufactured from 1936 to 1967. This one was manufactured in 1946. Rare to find one this age in such exceptional condition. A beautiful addition to any collection.
