Ithaca Model 37 R Featherlight - 12 Ga. Pump Action - Shotgun - Checkered walnut pistol grip style stock and grooved forend with butt plate. Hammerless pump action is an adaptation of John Browing's original design of the Remington model 17. Solid rib 26 In . long barrel , Imp . Cyl. with silver mid bead and an orange fiber optic front bead sight. External magazine tube with 4 plus 1 capacity 12 Ga. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver retaining approx. 85% bluing with very light patina on magazine tube and receiver. Stock and forend are in very good condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. The 37R is scarce as the solid rib design was a special order at that time. Known for it's easy loading and bottom ejection feature. Manufactured from 1937 to 1986. This one was manufactured in 1973. Very nice addition to any collection.
