Description:
The Ithaca Model 37T (Trap) in a 12-gauge configuration with a 30" barrel is a specialized target-shooting version of the classic Model 37 pump-action shotgun. While the standard Model 37 is known for its "Featherlight" hunting design, the "T" designation indicates a model specifically built for trap shooting, prioritizing a longer sight plane and enhanced stock ergonomics for competitive clay shooting. Like all Model 37s, it feeds and ejects through the same bottom port. This design keeps the action clean of debris and makes the gun fully ambidextrous, as spent shells are kicked straight down rather than across a shooter's field of vision. The 30" length is the longest standard option for this model, providing the necessary balance and "swing" required for tracking trap targets.
