Ithaca, Model 37, 16Ga., "1942", 28" Modified, Very Nice
Description:
Early production Ithaca NY USA Model 37 Pump Action Shotgun with serial number 52913 which I believe dates at 1942 according what I researched. This 16Ga gun has a 28" Plain Barrel and a Modified Choke with a small brass bead. The barrel also has a matching serial number to the receiver. The bore is clean and shiny and the action is tight. I rate the blue at about 95% with a thin wear mark on the barrel from rubbing against somthing about 11/2" long. There are also a few very small nicks noted toward the end of the barrel . Both sides of the receiver look great. The top of the receiver has some marks in the matte finish blue mostly toward the back end and a few smaller marks toward the barrel. The rear stock is rated about 95% also with a few small dings here and there. The forend which has a cut diamond pointed pattern has some rough areas to the checkering over most of it with some dings as well. I rate the forend at about 80% but taking the gun as a whole and for the age it looks quite good.I will ship to a FFL or C&R within the Continental USA for $40.00 not to include AK or HI. I am a storefront FFL in business 22 years with about 1650 A+ Internet Sale Ratings. Thank you, Glenn - Northeast Sporting Arms
