The item for sale is an Ithaca Model 37  Featherlight shotgun in 16 gauge. This is a  beautiful early Model 37 made in 1959. Truly collector quality as it looks nearly new showing no signs of wear or usage. There is only minor blue wear on the tube from the action being cycled. Quite amazing for a 61 year old shotgun. We acquired this with another Model 37, 12 gauge from 1957.which is sold. It was in the same condition. I do not believe they were ever used. These early Model 37's with steel receivers are great shotguns. If you collect Model 37's or.just appreciate fine shotguns you will not be disappointed.  There is virtually no sign of blue wear beyond what was mentioned above as the blue is 98%. The wood  and finish show no signs of wear. The stock does have a couple of minor pressure mark's acquired over the years. The action is flawless as expected with a new gun. The barrel is 28" with a Mod choke. A C&R or FFL is required for shipment. Please include $45 for shipping and insurance.
