Description:
For Sale is a model 37-T "tribute" as it is custom stocked in the style of the early pre-war model 37 Traps. Stock work done by Brian Dudley (BMD Gunstocks).
The gun is from the 1972 and all metal finishes are factory original and in great condition. The guns original 30" vent rib barrel has been fitted with thin wall choke tubes for added versatility in shooting. Skeets Gun Shop did the choke tube install for me. The wood that I put on the gun was factory original unfitted wood. I did the fitting, shaping, finishing and checkering. I shaped the stock in the style of the early model 37s and checkered it in the desirable model 37-T Flur pattern.
The Length of pull is 14-3/16" over a sunburst pad. Drops are 1.5" and 2-3/8". The weight of the gun is 7 lbs. 5 oz. the barrel is chambered 12g. 2-3/4".
The gun comes in the pictured case which is a factory Ithaca trunk case. It comes with an original ithaca "duck plug" as well.
I am listing this at $2,000 shipped to your FFL. Which I know is a bit for a model 37, but it is cheap for the work/money that I have into it and I have to be realistic on the pricing.
