Ultra Rare Ithaca Model 37 Trench Shotgun
Description: This is the Holy Grail of the trench shotguns, the Ithaca Model 37 made in 1942. It is estimated that only about 1,400 were issued and far fewer are in collectors hands today. This gun is in the proper serial range of 61038-61856. Matching serials on barrel and receiver. The gun has been parkerized, so refinished at some point after the war and it's unknown whether by an arsenal or a collector. It is maker marked on the barrel as seen in the photos and flaming bomb proofed on the receiver, showing it was accepted into the US Military. It comes with the original heat shield and military bayonet lug. RLB marking on receiver indicates it was inspected by Lt. Col Roy Bowlin. Single brass bead sight on bayonet adaptor.
