RECEIVER: boxlock, checkered double triggers (worn gold plating), AUTOMATIC EJECTORS, three position safety, full coverage of masterful scroll engraving and game scene vignettes, faint traces of case coloring, long tang trigger guard, exhibits the engraved initials "S, M, C" on trigger guard (this had to be a custom gun for someone), LOCKS UP TIGHT,
BARRELS: one barrel is 30" choked Full & Improved Modified, second barrel is 26" choked Improved Cylinder and Light Modified, BORES ARE EXCELLENT ON BOTH BARRELS, hand filed swamped rib, both barrels feature brass front beads, DAMASCUS PATTERN IS EXCELLENT ON BOTH BARRELS (SEE PHOTOS), there are no dents in barrels,
STOCK: buttstock is English (straight) style, nicely grained dark Walnut retaining original finish, LOP 14", DAC 2", DAH 3 1/2", factory hard rubber buttplate, small check on right side behind receiver, stock exhibits normal handling marks, Deluxe Fleur de Lie checkering pattern on buttstock, forarm exhibits elaborate ribbon pattern of checkering, checkering is worn and could use recutting,
