Ithaca # 2 Flues SXS 12 ga 1912

Description:
In my collection for 35+ years. Slowing down in my old age and no longer working so I'm selling off my collection. This is a really fine gun with fading color, good bluing and extra fancy stock.I'm not an expert but this is a really nice piece of feather crotch wood. My guess its an upgrade for a # 2 but the original purchaser may have just lucked out. Locks up tight but release lever is close to center.It has been in the field and fired this year. 2.75 chambers but I reload for less pressure and shoot Eley 2.5s otherwise. My collection gets a periodic stock rubdown and light coats of linseed oil and wax. This gun was done this year. I believe the stock is cast (on) about 1/8- 3/16. Takes me some time to adjust. My guns never go out on wet or rainey days and neither do I. I have an XP2 for waterfowl and wet days but I don't do that much either. Make offer
