Ithaca Crass 12ga BLNE Grade 2

Description:
Unmolested and somewhat rare grade 2 gun with nicely engraved receiver and attractively figured buttstock. 30"x 2 3/4" damascus barrels with mostly mirror bores, R 730/708 L 729/696, sound ribs. Some roughness in forcing cones both sides, mostly dark exterior but not pitted, small file or grinder mark on L near muzzle. Action tight, recently gone thru, lubed, firing pins replaced, finish mostly blue brown but not pitted, some screws with minor marring, trigger tang screw replaced. Attractive wood with original grip cap, buttplate (badly scarred) and checkering, fading on forend. Minor missing wood nr forend tip and left trigger. LOP 14", 1 7/8" and 3" drops, 1/4" cast off. 7lbs. A vintage shooter that would benefit from a barrel rebrown to revive the contrast.
