LAST PRICE CHANGE This is an Ithaca Flues model 1 1/2 grade in 16 gauge. This gun was made in 1921. It has 28 inch barrels, 2 1/2 inch chambers, choked: R-improved cylinder and L-full. It has double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety, filed rib and a single bead sight. The receiver has greyed and has no case coloring remaing. In 2013 the gun was stripped down, barrels re-blued, a new top lever added and engraved to match the grade 1 1/2 pattern and a new English grip stock and forearm was created using claro walnut by master engraver and stock maker Robert Strossin at a cost of $3500. The current modern dimensions are: LOP 14 3/4 inches, DH 2 and DC 1 3/8 inches, cast off 1/4 inch with a weight of 7 lb. It has a new Ithaca sunburst rubber pad. Condition is very good. There is a little play in the action with the forearm off. The top lever is left of center. The wood and barrels are 100%. I have used this gun on pheasants in South Dakota. It would make an incredible dove gun the way it is choked or a great grouse gun as well. I have used RST low pressure shells, after all it is almost 100 years old!
