Description:
For your consideration is a very nice Ithaca Model 37 12 gauge shotgun with 28" barrel with a red fiber optic bead.  This shotgun appears to be in excellent condition, and due to its age assume it has been shot, but it appears it hasnt been shot much if at all.  This shotgun was manufactured when Ithaca was in Kings Ferry NY (1987-1996).  It is still marked Model 37 on the barrel, so it is closer to 1986-7 in manufactured, later years the shotgun was renamed Model 87. Chamber will accept 2 3/4"-3" shells.  This Ithaca also has the "slam-fire" feature where holding the trigger and working the pump will allow the shotgun to continue to fire. Wood is nicely figured and has a lighter stain than I have normally seen on Ithacas.  Barrel has a modified choke installed and other chokes can still be purchased online.
