Ithaca NID, 12ga, Grade 4, Cocking Indicators, 28" bbls, Auto Ejectors, Mint Condition.
Description: Offered for sale (1) Ithaca NID 12ga SxS, Grade 4, Cocking Indicators, Gold Plated Double Triggers, Pistol Grip, Splinter Forend, 28" Barrels/Automatic Ejectors, auto-safety. Action functions perfectly. Barrels ring like a chime when holding by forend lug. S/N 454022 all matching. Year of manufacture 1928. Action, forend iron, and trigger guards screws are all engraved and clocked inline perfectly. Only 560 Ithaca NID Grade 4 guns all gauges were made. Barrels are Mod/Full. Left measures .692" at the muzzle, and right measures .703" at muzzle. Barrels touch at the muzzle. Stamped ahead of the barrel flats on each tube is a "D" with a three lobe crown over it., that stamp being the barrel tube manufacture. On the barrel loop (forend lug), letters "B" and "P" are stamped. Stock dimensions are: LOP 14 3/8" to Hawkins pad, Drop at Comb: 1 9/16", and Drop at Heel: 2 9/16". There is a factory gold shield in the buttstock with owners name engraved. All original factory condition, Blue 99%, Case Colors 99%, Wood 98.5% with original lacquer.
