ITHACA NID FIELD GRADE 10 GUAGE 3 1/2" MAGNUM. 32" BARRELS, FULL (.050) AND FULL (.050), 3 1/2" CHAMBERS, TWIN IVORY SIGHTS, MIRROR PERFECT BORES, NO DENTS OR DINGS OF ANY KIND. EXCELLENT BRIGHT ORIGINAL BLUE, EXTRACTORS.
BOXLOCK FRAME WITH CASE COLOR FINISH, FINE LINE ENGRAVING, STIPPLED AT THE TOP. NO COCKING INDICATORS. TOP LEVER SLIGHTLY TO THE RIGHT, TIGHT ON FACE.
PISTOL GRIP AMERICAN WALNUT STOCK, SPLINTER FOREARM WITH WORN CHECKERING. VERY GOOD WOOD FINISH WITH NORMAL HANDLING MARKS. ORIGINAL GRIP CAP, PACHMAYR RECOIL PAD. LENGTH OF THE WOOD IS 15" TOTAL LENGTH, WITH THE PAD IS 15 3/4", DROP 1 3/4" AT COMB AND 2 1/2" AT HEEL, 10 POUNDS 8 OUNCES. SERIAL NUMBER IS 500522, WHICH MAKES IT THE 522ND GUN BUILT OUT OF A TOTAL PRODUCTION OF 850. A TOTAL OF 574 FIELD GRADES WERE PRODUCED. THIS EXAMPLE WAS MADE IN 1938.
