Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful and very lightly used Kimber Marias 20ga Grade II O/U sidelock! I've owned many of these Kimber sidelocks guns and have always been impressed by the value they offer.... lots of very high end features without the high end price. If you want a sidelock over-under, you'd have to spend many thousand more. For the money, you can't beat them!
This Holland & Holland style over/under sidelock is hand engraved with tasteful scroll and the bone/charcoal color case hardening is absolutely stunning. You cannot find case coloring like this on a gun for twice this price. The sidelocks are hand detachable and are just as well finished on the inside. The hammer and pins are all nitre blued, the lock plates are jeweled, and the rest of the parts are all nicely hand polished. The stock is fashioned from beautiful Turkish walnut; a rounded pistol grip paired with a slim forend. Beautifully finished with hand-rubbed oil, hand-cut checkering (including a fully checkered butt), and very nicely carved drop points. Stock dimensions are excellent... 1 7/16" x 2 1/8" x 14 1/4". Cast appears neutral. The wood is balanced by 30" barrels, with interchangae Teague-style chokes (notch-less for a very clean, traditional look), traditional Belgium rust blue finish, 3" chambers, and jeweled barrel lumps, all topped with a flat rib and single front bead. Other notable features include single selective trigger, selective ejectors, gold-lined cocking indicators (a nice pop against those beautiful case colors), long bottom tang, and field safety. At 7lbs 5oz, it's pleasure in the field or on the range... perfect for dove, pheasant, or clays. Excellent condition overall. Fired very little. Minimal wear and functions perfectly.
