SEMPERT & KRIEGHOFF CAPE GUN – 8x57JR (.318) / 20 Gauge – Hensoldt Scope – Made in Suhl, Germany (1930)
Exceptional pre-war German combination gun from Sempert & Krieghoff, built in 1930 in Suhl, Germany and configured as a classic Cape Gun with rifle and shotgun barrels in one elegant sporting package. This is a highly refined full sidelock gun with traditional German craftsmanship throughout and retains numerous premium features rarely found together.
Beautifully finished with scroll and game scene engraving, lever side safety, and a robust double underbite lockup with Greener-style third fastener for secure barrel engagement. Additional details include sideclips, horn trigger guard, horn forend tip, ebony grip cap, and a well-shaped cheekpiece with shadow line.
The gun is fitted with the desirable factory scope mounting system and includes a Hensoldt Wetzlar Dural Dialytan scope. Reticle consists of two heavy horizontal bars and a single heavy vertical post (not touching) for fast acquisition in hunting conditions. Configuration & Specifications
