A matched pair round body game guns with two-barrel sets in 20 and 28-gauge. The 20-gauge barrels are 30" with 3" chambers, tapered smooth concave game ribs, brass bead front sights and choked Full & Full in Gun #1 and Improved Modified & Full in Gun #2. The 28-gauge barrels are 30" with 2-3/4" chambers, tapered smooth concave game ribs, brass bead front sights and both Gun #1 and Gun #2 are choked Modified & Improved Modified. Top of the ribs on both barrels are marked "KRIEGHOFF Made in Germany". The action bodies and lockplates are adorned with English Arabesque scrolls and "KRIEGHOFF' engraved in gold on both sides of the action bodies. The bottoms of the action bodies are engraved 'Essencia' in gold script. The sidelock actions are fitted with a concealed third fastener, disc-set strikers, gold-plated cocking indicators, non-automatic checkered slide safeties and gold washed single non-selective inertia triggers that are protected by engraved double-sided rolled edge trigger guards. Gold-Inlaid "1" on top levers, rib near breeches and bottom of fore-end irons. Highly figured deluxe Turkish walnut stocks with Krieghoff's Prince-Of-Wales grip, Splinter fore-ends with Anson style push button releases, engraved center diamonds and escutcheons. 15-1/8" LOP to leather covered recoil pads. Gun #1 weighs 6 Lbs. 9 Oz. and Gun #2 weights 6 Lbs. 12 Oz. The shotguns are presented in the maker's leather trunk cases with canvas covers and accessories.
