Charles Lancaster Pair 20 gauge game guns. 28" nitro proved barrels feature game rib, 2-3/4" chambers.  No.1 choked improved/cylinder and improved/modified. No. 2 choked modified and full.  The barrels bear the 61 Pall Mall St, James's London address.  Single trigger, automatic ejectors, auto safe.  The sidelock actions fully engraved in a delicate leaf and tendril pattern with beaded borders.  An old silver finish serves as a perfect background for this diminutive  pattern. This pair of twenty bores have undergone a complete renovation including a London reproof for 2-3/4" chambers.  Bushed pins and perfect screws all sparkle with fire blue.  Straight hand diamond grip stocks of bold black swirling figure immediately catch your eye.  Measurements of 1-3/8" comb, 2-1/4" heel, 14-3/4" LOP to checkered butts.  At 5 lbs., 12 oz., they are within 1/2 ounce of one another.  Everything about this pair feels racy.   They simply snap to your shoulder and come right to your eye.  A wonderful pair of British small bores.  Impeccable condition, in their fitted oak and leather case with Maker's label.
