Description:
A 12 Gauge Sidelock ejector shotgun circa 1888. It has a 30” browned Damascus modern nitro proved barrels and game rib. The rib is marked, Joseph Lang & Son. 10, Pall Mall. Late 22 Cockspur St London, Modern London Nitro proof with the proper reproof marks from 2007, Modern proved for 2 3/4" (70mm) cartridges as well as old original proof marks and Birmingham reproof marks from 1962. Chokes at Improved Cylinder and Modified.  Profusely engraved fine bouquet and scroll pattern with Joseph Lang & Son in Banner and bright finish, Double triggers, Best quality walnut stock, drop points, traditional English straight hand grip, Splinter forend with snap release, 14 7/8" LOP over a 1” leather covered pad, Cast Off 1/4” at face, 6 Lbs. 15 Oz. The shotgun is presented in an oak & leather case with accessories.
