Beautiful and rare early Grade 2 16ga L.C. Smith with gorgeous Chain Damascus barrels
Description: Hard to find- this early 16ga Grade 2 made with 30" gorgeous chain Damascus barrels, splinter forend, double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. The case hardened action is lightly scroll engraved in the early style as seen in the photos. Capped pistol grip buttstock with original buttplate - the wood is very nicely figured for a Grade 2 as seen in the photos. Overall, the gun remains in pleasing condition. Barrels retain about 90%+ of their toned original chain Damascus pattern. Receiver appears to be a factory recase color during the early period of use and retains about 85% of that color, engraving is still strong and has not been recut. Stocks are sound and retain about 95% of their fine hand rubbed finish. Bores are bright and shiny and mechanics are fine. These small bore early Smiths are hard to find and this one comes to me from a great collection. It is priced at $3695 plus shipping to your FFL. Please don't hesitate to contact me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions or reasonable offers. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Shotgun Gauge: 16 Gauge Manufacturer: L.C.
