This is a beautiful American-made double trigger side-by-side shotgun produced by Hunter Arms Co. in Fulton, NY. It features “L.C. Smith" markings on both sides of the receiver, “L.C. Smith" stamped on the right barrel, and “Hunter Arms Co. Inc. M’f’r’s Fulton, NY USA" on the left barrel. The gun is chambered in 16 gauge, with double triggers. Wood and metal show honest wear consistent with age and use but remain in good overall condition. Locks up tight and barrels are solid. Serial number FWE97048, with “Field" marking. These 16 gauge Featherweights are less common than their 12 gauge counterparts, making this an especially desirable piece for collectors and hunters alike.
