Description:
Mostly original early (1885) ejector gun with unusual engraving (quail and woodcock) and extra long crown steel barrels retaining a lot of blue: 32 x 2 3/4" barrels with only light pitting measuring R 734/695 L 733/693 (full full). Original stocks with mostly intact checkering, a small chip missing behind L lockplate, couple of tight short grain cracks in forend, LOP 13 through dog's head plate, DAH 2 1/2 DAC 1 1/4. Action tight, finish is silvered with some splotches. I suspect the buttplate is not original but the rest of it looks unmolested. 7 1/2lb duck gun.
