This gun is an early Hunter Bro.s “F” Grade hammer gun in marvelous condition considering age and grade. It is 100% original and retains about 90% original finish, has 32” London composit steel barrels with lightly pitted bores (~0.003”), possibly 50% case colors that are drifting brown, and a perfect “The L C Smith Trap Gun” HRBP. The stock retains 98% of the original varnish that has a few handling marks on the untouched original varnish. The checkering is near perfect but a little dirty. The stock measures: LOP = 14 ½”, DC = 2”, & DH = 3 ¼”. All in all, an extremely nice collector quality antique gun made in 1895.
